Celebrate Kmart and new stores!

This Christmas, Marketplace Gungahlin is giving you the biggest present of them all – Kmart and more shops to enjoy.

We love Gungahlin and have enjoyed watching it grow and prosper into the incredible district we see today, since we first opened our doors in 1998.

Over the past 12 months, we've done lots of work and made lots of changes to our buildings, facilities and retailers to make sure we meet the needs of our growing region, and to make Marketplace Gungahlin a better, more accessible shopping centre hub for local residents.

Now we're ready to show off what we've done!

Come and enjoy the fun on opening day, when the Centre will be celebrating with the following activities:

• 8am Kmart opens its doors
• Centre Grand Opening Ceremony at 10am
• Your chance to win $1,000 every day for 20 days (t’s & c’s apply)
• Hit 104.7 station crew onsite from 8am – 4pm handing out popcorn and fairy floss
• 200 Kmart show bags for the first 200 purchases
• Roaming characters inside Kmart and around the Centre
• Free and fun family activities
• Santa and Mrs Claus arrive at 9.30am to say hello

So head down to Marketplace Gungahlin from 8am on Thursday 24 November and join in all the opening day festivities!
